My wife bought a garment rack and I put it together for her today.  I’m still sick at home.  I put all my sports coats on it and counted them while I was at it.  I counted a few other items while I was at it.  Here’s the approximate break down.     30 sport coats 0 suits 60 shirts 60 ties 20 pairs of shoes 40 pairs of pants 10 pairs of shorts I’m always curious about how much is too much.  I don’t want to be a glutton, but at the same time I do like variety.  There are several things that I don’t want anymore in the mix and several things I didn’t even count because I’m getting rid of them (look out for the Acute Style Summer Sale).   Plus, there are several items I want that I still haven’t picked up despite looking for years.  I mean years.  I’ve been looking for a navy single breasted 2 or 3 button blazer forever.  Being cheap and picky is not always the best combo.  I might just bite the bullet and buy full price.  The thrill of the hunt is waning.
