Q:What are some alterations that can be done on shirts? What is the average price range for those alterations?
I’d say the most common shirt alteration is having the waist and sleeves slimmed ($25). I need to have this done on most of my shirts, even the slim fit ones. It makes a huge difference in terms of fit. Sleeves can also be shortened ($12) and the body can be shortened ($15). All prices are in Manhattan. It’s probably cheaper everywhere else in the universe.
