I have the utmost respect for Ethan’s dress game, but this is not a good example of pattern mixing on at least two levels. The colors in the shirt, pants, and tie go nicely together and so do the colors of the pocket square and jacket. The colors of all five elements do not mix well. There seems to be a faint blue in the jacket, but it’s too small to pull this together.  Secondly, the patterns in the shirt, tie and jacket are all about the same size.  Patterns mix better when they vary in size.  All of the pieces look fantastic alone and I’m sure they are of the highest quality, but just don’t mix well.  One man’s opinion.     ethandesu: Summer Patterns Orazio Luciano Su Misura Trunk Show at The Armoury Today and Tomorrow
