I’m not sure why, but I have always been enamored with this particular stripe in this particular color combination. Brooks Brothers recently released a bunch of accessories in the stripe. I currently own zero items in this pattern, but I hope that will change soon. Repp that.

The kind people at Dolbeau were nice enough to send me this beautiful bow tie. I’ve been trying to step up my bow tie game and this just earned me a 1up. It can be worn 8 different ways. That’s about $8 per bow. Can’t beat that. The fabric and construction are both amazing. I was hesitant about spending $60 on a bow tie (and I didn’t have too), but after handling this one, these things are clearly underpriced. Top notch. I especially love the bone buttons. Excellent touch. Thanks for the great bow, Dolbeau.

I’m slowly expanding my bow tie collection. I have a seersucker and a Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders. A madras bow is high on my summer list. Copped.
2. Polo Ralph Lauren Royal Artillery Club Tie $50 via eBay
I’ve been looking for this tie for ages. I wish it didn’t have the dogs on it, but they are sitting on black watch crests. I have socks and a watch strap in the same pattern. Wearing them all today. Too much? Too little!
3. Sander’s Suede Loafers $65 via eBay
I’ve been on a suede shoe kick for a while now. I’ve been looking for some tan suede shoes to replace my Bass bucks. These will do just fine. Heart and sole.
4. Polo Ralph Lauren Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Socks $11 via eBay
I’ve been looking for these socks for ages. Smart Turnout has a pair for $30, but I was hoping for a cheaper pair. Found them. I have a bow tie, a tie, a NATO strap, a pocket square and rugby in the same pattern.
5. Lands End Canvas Navy Linen Shorts $23 via Lands End Canvas
I need some simple summer shorts. These’ll do. I have plenty of fun shorts.
