The Knottery Lapel Flowers, $8
Pastels.
This Just In: Lapel Flowers
$8 each @ the Knottery
Uncle Beebo is known far and wide for always rocking the lapel flower. I’ve liked the look for a while and wanted to get in on it. I got these three lovelies yesterday in the mail.
I first looked over at J&HP. They have some nice products, but I didn’t want to drop $20 for one of these things. As always, the Knottery came to the rescue. I like these because they come in some nice, bright solid colors, they’re shaped like flowers, and they’re only $8. Win, win, score.
There is one down side though. I really should have checked my sport coats before I bought these things. Most of the lapel holes on my jackets need to be opened up and several of my jackets don’t even have lapel holes. I’ll see if my tailor can add them.
Nontheless, thanks again Knottery. They also come in green, turquoise, purple and gray. Some colors are sold out though. Get them while you can.
The Knottery Colored Shoelaces $5
These look great and the price is right, but I wonder if I’d actually wear them. I don’t know if I’m this adventurous. I probably am though. These are my favorite colors. They’re also available in orange, teal, purple, and green.
This Just In: The Knottery Blaze Orange 3” Knit Tie
$25 @ The Knottery
I got two knit ties in the mail today from the Knottery: navy and orange. I definitely wanted and need the navy (staple) but was feeling a little pre-buyers remorse about the orange given that this thing is not in my closet yet. Those feelings are gone. This tie is beautiful. Granted it doesn’t feel as thick or silky as my Polo knits, but it makes one of the most gorgeous knit knots I’ve ever seen. Dimple and all. I’m very pleased.
I usually like my non knit ties to be 3.25” to 3.5” wide. I thought that I would like this 3” knit more than a 2.75” because it’s closer to my ideal tie width, but I was mistaken. Not that I don’t like the 3”, but I think 2.75” looks better on me. You learn something new everyday.
The Knottery Navy and Orange Knit Ties
I was initially thinking about getting the Black Watch and Camel ties from the Knottery’s new arrivals. After some consideration, I figured this would not be best. I have a camel knit tie that I rarely wear and three Black Watch ties. I think it’s more important to land a much needed staple i.e. the navy knit tie. It’s hard to pass up at this price. I’m thinking about getting the orange knit too. It’s so beautifully bright. Plus, I can wear it while I’m hunting pheasant.
The Knottery Camel Hair and Black Watch Ties
I met Jay at Capsule a few weeks ago. Super cool guy. I think in addition to running the Knottery, he’s a mind reader on the side. I’ve been thinking about making a Camel Hair tie for years. Jay, you make dreams come true.
The Knottery ties on the way.
