This Just In: Polo Navy Striped Grenadine Tie
$10 @ eBay
I saw this on auction on eBay for $10. I emailed the seller to ask if he would sell it to me directly. I asked him to name his price and he asked for $10. Who am I to argue with him?

The only boots I own are a pair of Bean Boots. I’ve been looking for a pair of boots for the fall/winter and think these will fit the bill. The top pair has a leather sole. I’m not sure if it will be ideal for foul weather. I’m considering having the sole replaced. The bottom pair is a bit more rugged and has a rubber sole. These should work well when the weather gets bad.
I usually don’t like spending more than $90 for any given item, but I rarely find good shoe and outerwear deals for under that price. I’m not sure if I’ll keep both pairs. The second pair may be too chunky for my liking. We’ll see in 5-7 days.
This Just In: JC Penney’s Tartan Fun Shirt
$20 @ JC Penney’s
The collar was a bit wonky. I had to have my tailor move the buttons. It’s still not the best, but it’ll do. Also the sleeves are attached to the body at an angle. It affects the tightness at the armpits when I move my arms up and down. Not a deal breaker, but interesting pattern choice. Love the tartan. Love the fun. Love the price. No brainer.
This Just In: Brooks Brothers Vintage Navy Sack Blazer
This jacket is pretty grail for me. Brooks Brothers, 3/2 roll, triple patch pocket, wide lapels, gold buttons, single vent, wool blend, sack jacket. Brooks Brothers sells a similar model for around $500 and J. Press has one for about $1000. I got this one for heck of a lot less. Good looking out, Rob.
The fit is pretty good. I had to have the sleeves lengthened and I might get the waist nipped. I think the room in the waist speaks to the vintage of the jacket though. We’ll see.
