Thom Browne Seersucker Fun Hat
Put that on everything I love.
This Just In: Polo Ralph Lauren Cotton Black Watch Cap
$25 @ eBay
My first black watch item ever was a Tommy Hilfiger hat like the one above. It was made of a lighter weight cotton and had the Tommy insignia on the front panel. It’s long gone, but it’s nice to have a similar one in the mix again.
It looks like some jerk store cut the leather strap in the back. Luckily, It fits me perfectly on the last available hole. Some people. SMH.
Note: I did not wear this hat today, but I did wear the gloves and scarf. #bwg

Every now and then, I like to try out new things. I wouldn’t say that I’m jumping on a bandwagon so much as seeing if something fits in with my style. Believe it or not, I’ve only been wearing pocket squares for about two years now. There was a time when I found them a little awkward, but now I can’t imagine not wearing one.
I wear a hat everyday in the fall/winter. It’s usually a watch cap or a trapper hat. This is my first “serious” hat. Of course, it’s Black Watch. Don’t be surprised. I think it’s a fedora, but it may just be a bucket hat. It has been misshapen in it’s travels in the mail. I’m not sure how or if I can reshape it. Research later.
My wife hates it and thinks it looks ridiculous. I like it, but I’m not crazy about it right out of the box. I may need to size down a quarter inch. Also, I think it would look better if it had more structure to it. Hat’s are pretty cheap on eBay so I may get another one soon. So, what do you think?

I’m exposed to many different styles on a daily basis through my tumblr feed. I’ve recently given vest a go and I like them. Next on the list? Hats. Just won this auction and I’m excited to get this on my dome next week. I’m not sure if I have the face for a hat or this one is right for my face, but we’ll see.
Safety first. Available in other colors as well.
Head to toe.
Weekend Unbrand: Rugby Patchwork Madras Hat
My standard lid is an old seersucker I’ve had for about three years now. I saw this at Rugby in early spring and fell in love with everything but the price. I came back a week later and they were sold out. Heavyhearted, I searched to no avail whenever I went back, hoping it would materialize. Well it finally did about a month ago. And it was on sale. I snatched it up immediately.
I didn’t like the Rugby patch on the front so I took it off. I used a pair of nail clippers. I usually use a compass, but they’re all at school. I’m not sure I’ll wear it today given my pants, but ready for the weekend nonetheless.
MOUPIA Fruity 5 Panel Hat
Fructose. (via Four-Pins)
It’s no secret that I’m a fan of seersucker. In particular, I love seersucker hats. I’ve worn one pretty much every year since my junior/senior year of high school. The one I have now is a bit beat up, but I have a replacement in the wings. I might need to get a replacement for my replacement soon.
